Prospan acute effervescent tablets contain the patented EA 575 ivy leaves dry extract which has been demonstrated to be safe and effective for treatment of cough and bronchial diseases. Components in the ivy leaves dry extract helps to reduce secretions including mucus and dilates the airways among other effects. These help in the symptomatic relief of cough and upper respiratory conditions.

Adults and children above 12 years: 1 tablet in the morning, 0.5 tablet in the evening.
Children 6-12 years: 0.5 tablet in the morning, 0.5 tablet in the evening.
Children less than 6 years: Recommended to use Prospan syrup instead.
 
Directions: Dissolve tablet into a glass of water (100-200mL) and drink.
