Haz-Tab Tablets incorporate troclosene sodium (NaDCC) and provide a simple and easy means of making up the correct strength of chlorine solution required for dealing with biohazard spillages, disinfecting laboratory jars and consumables and environmental disinfection.

Instructions for Use (based on 4.5g Haz-Tab tablets)
General environmental disinfection
1,000ppm available chlorine: Dissolve 1 tablet in 2.5 litres of cold tap water.
 
Disinfection of laboratory discard jars
2,500ppm available chlorine: Dissolve 1 tablet in 1 litre of cold tap water.
 
Disinfection of blood and blood-stained body fluid spillages
10,000ppm available chlorine: Dissolve 4 tablets in 1 litre of cold tap water.
 
Emergency water disinfection
5ppm available chlorine: Dissolve 1 tablet in 500 litres of water
 
Precautions
Use disposable gloves. Never use on chemical spillages or mix with cleaning agents. Solution may bleach fabrics. Solution used on urine may smell unpleasant, ensure extra ventilation.
