Biohazard Wipes
Biohazard Wipes offer dual-use benefits for modern healthcare facilities by incorporating the chlorine donor Troclosene sodium (NaDCC) and an anionic surfactant.
The dry nature of these wipes overcome the instability associated with wet chlorine wipes.
When placed directly onto a blood or blood-stained body fluid spillage, each dry wipe will absorb the spillage and disinfect with 10,000 ppm available chlorine strength.
When moistened, the wipe can be used for general environmental disinfection in the same manner as if using a Chlor-Clean solution. This is particularly useful for patient associated equipment such as commodes. The Chlor-Clean formulation allows surfaces to be cleaned and disinfected in one simple wipe action.
